Newly revised design: The wheel cover is manufactured especially for us in Germany and protects the trailer from water and dirt and the load from dragging on the wheels. It offers sufficient protection even with particularly wide tyres such as the Super Moto X from Schwalbe.
The mudguards are firmly bolted to the side of the trailer (supplied loose for packaging reasons). You must drill the necessary holes yourself. On most chassis models, the necessary holes are already pre-marked on the inside of the trailer chassis. For box trailers, an additional reinforcement bracket must be fitted to the floor and side wall of the aluminium box (not included in the scope of delivery).
Attention for DIY: Due to the installation dimensions, the wheel cover can only be used in conjunction with a stainless steel axle protruding at least 10 mm on both sides.
