Hxxl light
The weight-optimised version of the Hxxl offers the same enormous transport capacities and is almost two kilograms lighter thanks to the load-optimised cut-outs. For some users an upgrade to the more robust SL-drawbar system and the Ursus kickstand makes already sense.

Note on the handcart function
Our trailers are primarily designed as bicycle trailers. All specifications therefore refer in principle to the function as a bicycle trailer. In addition, almost all models can be used multi-modally in various environments, e.g. as a handcart, walking rickshaw, trolley, etc. For many of these uses, there are special equipment packages suitable for them. Please refer to the respective technical descriptions so that you can select the most suitable equipment for your purposes.
Delivery time
Your trailer will be assembled and packed according to your configuration when all parts are in stock. Please understand that this manufacturing by hand by our technically experienced team takes a few days. During peak season and due to worldwide supply difficulties, the delivery time can be two to four weeks.
The Hxxl light is well equipped for all everyday transport. However, if you often want to move more than 65 kg total weight, travel on bad roads or drive fast we recommend the upgrade to the SL-Alu-drawbar. For the strongest trailer possible we offer an upgrade to the industry-leading stainless steel drawbar system and the Hinterher bicycle hitch.

If you also want to use your Hxxl light trailer as a handcart, please select the corresponding hand drawbar
mount here. You can now change the position of the drawbar within a
few seconds: from bicycle trailer mode to handcart mode and vice
versa. The lowerable support wheel can also be combined with this
function. Please note that we strongly recommend choosing the Ursus kickstand when going for the handcart mode option.
Here you can further customize the wheel selection for your Hinterher trailer. Chose the Schwalbe Smart Sam tire if you plan on going off the beaten track. We also recommend our new reinforced wheel with the extra robust cargo tire from Schwalbe. Please note that these wheels with bigger tires still fit in the trailers chassis for storage but that the wheel laying on top can not click its quick-release axle through the trailers chassis.
