Hmax
The Hmax is our best-selling model and that for a reason. For most people it has the ideal balance of capacity and practicability. If all you ever want and need is a bicycle trailer for the typical things you do in your life (grocery shopping, touring, hobby) look no further. With a little bit of improvisation and enough lashing straps you can push the Hmax even further and beyond what you think it can carry.

Note on the handcart function
Our trailers are primarily designed as bicycle trailers. All specifications therefore refer in principle to the function as a bicycle trailer. In addition, almost all models can be used multi-modally in various environments, e.g. as a handcart, walking rickshaw, trolley, etc. For many of these uses, there are special equipment packages suitable for them. Please refer to the respective technical descriptions so that you can select the most suitable equipment for your purposes.
Delivery time
Your trailer will be assembled and packed according to your configuration when all parts are in stock. Please understand that this manufacturing by hand by our technically experienced team takes a few days. During peak season and due to worldwide supply difficulties, the delivery time can be two to four weeks.
The Hmax light is well equipped for all everyday transport. However, if you often want to move more than 45 kg total weight, travel on bad roads, drive fast, use the trailer commercially or plan the big trip, then a reinforcement makes sense
The drawbar connects your Hinterher to your bicycle. There are different variants for normal bicycles and e-bikes. For trikes and exotic bikes, we offer an extensive range of special drawbars.
The Hmax is equipped with black wheels as standard. Alternatively, you can order this wheel with silver rims and hubs. If you want to ride off the beaten track, we recommend the wider Schwalbe Smart Sam tyre. Please note that these wheels can no longer be stowed in the aluminium tub of the Hmax light due to their larger diameter.
Select a hitch for your bicycle here. This is permanently mounted on the bicycle and enables a secure and easy connection with your Hinterher. For most bicycle the Weber EL hitch fits to the rear wheel axle. When in doubt, please consult us.
