Brand new: We have added a unique feature to our range of heavy-duty drawbars: A variably adjustable stainless steel drawbar extension from 50 to 110 cm. Thanks to a practical row of holes, the drawbar can be adjusted very quickly and easily in steps of approx. 11 cm. This drawbar now replaces the three different stainless steel extensions of 50, 80 and 100 cm. If necessary, the (too long) extension can be shortened by hand to the desired length.
This variable drawbar extension must be combined with the SL drawbar connecting sleeve, an SL drawbar (stainless steel or aluminium) and an SL drawbar bracket. The drawbar extension can be strapped under the trailer to save space or clamped in place with our brackets, which can be ordered separately. The newly developed extension system has some decisive advantages:
° Very high load capacity.
° Backlash-free connection thanks to eccentric clamping
° Secured by hinged cotter pins, which in turn are undetachably secured with wire ropes
° Can be completely dismantled in a few seconds.
° A variably adjustable drawbar extension is always available from approx. 50 to 110 cm
° The 8 mm locking pin can be replaced by the customer with an M8 screw connection with locking nut if quick dismantling is not important or greater stability is required.
° The manual drawbar function of the SL stainless steel heavy-duty drawbar can be used without restrictions. The extension adapter, which has to be riveted into the SL aluminium drawbars and protrudes at the rear, is no longer required.
° Compatibility with existing SL drawbar mounts.
° Simple additions possible with long tube extensions.
° Customised solutions made from 35 mm stainless steel tubing are easy to realise.
° Easy to repair: The connections are based on 35 mm tubes with 8 mm holes and DIN screws, which can be repaired using universally available screws, bolts, split pins etc. if necessary.
